Will we have a roof over our heads for Christmas?

It's been a few weeks since I have had the chance to visit site and write up the blog, must try harder. However there is a silver lining, I get to see fantastic progress! I enjoyed my morning trip to the Island today, the calm after the recent storm. The house now has form, it has been a flat platform for a month or longer and despite the huge amount of work needed to create that, it's great to see the walls rise up so that the shape of the building legible. Jamie and Matthew (his son) Hunt are the dynamic duo who have done an amazing job with all the timber framing - they have worked incredibly hard and diligently, the project has leaped forward as a result. This coming week will see the inner walls and hopefully the roof structure before Christmas.. We might just have a roof over our head by then.
